Thanks to miss Warners' passion for collecting, Miramar Zeemuseum opened its doors in Vledder in 1966. The 'blue lady' turned her collection into a unique and fascinating museum.

Children's activities

Children will have a wonderful time thanks to the activities that are available at Miramar Zeemuseum. They can go on a treasure hunt through the museum, enjoy crafting with shells or learn about whales.

Education

Miramar Zeemuseum has developed interesting educational materials for middle and upper primary school pupils. Upon request, the programme of an educational visit can also be customised.

Vier Wereld Oceaan Dag in Miramar

Op zondag 8 juni is het Wereld Oceaan Dag. Op deze dag wordt er extra aandacht besteed aan onze oceanen. Miramar Zeemuseum doet hier ook aan mee met een interessante lezing en speciale kinderactiviteit in het Miramar Zeelab.

Feestelijke opening Jutterspad

Miramar Zeemuseum lanceert met trots een nieuwe buitenactiviteit: het Jutterspad, een speel- en beleefpad voor kinderen in het aangrenzende bos. De feestelijke opening vindt plaats op maandag 2 juni om 16.00 uur.
